It was super easy to put together and I did it on my own in about 20 minutes. Everything is clearly labeled or diagrammed, you don't need any tools other than the allen wrench that's provided and I really like that every bit that a cat could touch is covered in soft carpet. Plus the color doesn't make it stand out too much in the room.
Our cat really loves this cat tree but he often falls out of it when on the very top level. It tilts when he moves forward because he is looking at something intriguing out the window. We did easily solve this problem by putting something heavy onto the bottom layer which he never seems to use. Also the top bed doesn't fit him perfectly even though he is only a year old. The hammock is his favorite feature and mine as well. He does cuddle up into a nice ball and sleeps for countless hours, sometimes the entire night. I am happy I purchased it because it was worth the price to say the least.
My boys love it. It aligns perfectly with my window sill that both cats love to jump up on. In order to preserve my screens & walls. & decided to get the tower. Now they can bird watch without destroying the house. It was super easy to assemble, I did it all myself within 20 minutes. I will say if you have a big cat just be conscious of the top bed, the edges aren’t super sturdy (because it’s only meant to be a cushion). My cat is a big...BIG boy...I ended up reinforcing the edges myself but honestly it’s not totally necessary. I just did it for aesthetic reasons. Overall I love it.
Very easy to put together, as long as you don't have a toddler "helping" (i.e. stealing every item you need to put it together and walking off with it). Our cat is a bit of a wuss, so he's still staring at it from across the room, but I have the feeling he'll love it come dinner time.
Super-sturdy! My cats love it (especially the round nest). Sisal rope is still going strong over a year later. Nest is still on (although the metal is bent/sagging a little because my kids leaned their weight on it while adoring the two kittens curled up in it). Not a manufacturing flaw. Impressive that it held up.
